Each L-shaped corner points away from center, then back, then away again, like a conversation that never fully resolves. Maroon against pale linen, anchored by slate grey at the joints and border — colors that have been somewhere, done something.

There is no focal point. Your eye moves, finds a rhythm, moves again. The grid is exact, but the feeling is not.
